Sunshine, tulips and people!  

Finally Spring has arrived in Turkey, and our beautiful city of Istanbul is sweeping away all the bad memories of the last few months to show its wonderful colours.   Turkish families as well as tourists are out enjoying the Springtime sunshine and  the floral displays in Gulhane Park.   Gulhane is a beautiful park adjacent to Topkapi Palace and the name tranlates to Rose Garden. The park was used by the Sultans in days gone by, but now is enjoyed by not only Turkish people, but tourists from all over the world.      Our Director Gaye Reeves and Greg Smith took time out on Sunday to get out  and enjoy the day.    Starting with a stroll around the park enjoying the tulip displays, then on to taste a delicious gozleme (turkish pancake) and baklava and  finishing with a glass of wine along with a stunning view over Istanbul!    Come and share this beautiful city with friendly Turkish people!  You are safe when you travel with us here at Turkey Travel Guide
